About the Position

Zetterbergs has been around since 1923. They manufacture truck bodies and are today an important part of Sweden's automotive and manufacturing industry. Here, craftsmanship is combined with automated production technology. The entire production flow exists under one roof. They have their production in Östervåla, where they have been since their inception.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a painter, you will work with the painting of truck bodies. Your main tasks include:

Preparing and treating surfaces for painting, such as sanding, filling, and masking.
Applying primer and topcoat using spray equipment.
Ensuring that the painting meets high quality standards and fulfills the company's requirements for precision and finish.
Working with various types of paints and coating systems according to specified guidelines.
Following the company's safety procedures and proactively working to maintain a safe working environment.
Contributing to keeping a clean and organized workplace.
Participating in efforts to continuously improve our processes.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience as a painter, preferably within heavy industry or the automotive industry.
Good knowledge of working with spray painting and various coating systems.
Experience in preparatory work such as sanding, masking, and priming.
High precision and attention to detail to achieve high-quality results.
Understanding of workplace and safety requirements related to painting work.

It is advantageous if you have:

Experience in painting within the heavy vehicle industry.
Knowledge of and experience working according to ISO-certified occupational health and safety systems.
Education in industrial painting or similar.
